Each day, Wisconsin’s long-term care providers work hard to keep their residents and employees safe. Unfortunately, investing in equipment that helps you transfer residents safely, maintain resident comfort and dignity, and keep your caregivers safe can be difficult as many long-term care facilities face significant financial and workforce challenges.
As a major insurer of nursing homes and assisted living facilities in the Midwest, West Bend Mutual Insurance Company and Argent believe it’s important to ensure both resident and caregiver safety, as well as give back to Wisconsin’s long-term care provider community. That’s why the West Bend Mutual Insurance Company Charitable Fund has established an endowment for the express purpose of providing equipment to Wisconsin’s nursing homes and assisted living care facilities. The grants provide state-of-the-art equipment to improve transferring or transfer assistance for residents and caregivers, while easing the financial burden.
