Weather permitting, the outdoor event will include a "battle re-enactment with a semi-automatic rifle demonstration."By Shannon Antinori, Patch National Staff | Nov 28, 2018 1:59 pm ET ![]() PLAINFIELD, IL — Once again, District 202 is alerting residents of a war reenactment at Plainfield Central High School that will include a semi-automatic rifle demonstration. The demonstration, which will take place for most of the school day on Friday, is part of social studies teacher Steve Lamberti's annual program on war-related topics. This year's topic is "the life of a soldier during World War II," according to the district. The demonstrations will take place periodically from 7:15 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday with the help of PHSCC alum Eric Percy, who does war re-enactments as a hobby. Take a week off from spending.
