Nick Papanicholas Jr.
President

Nick Jr. is responsible for all development, construction, financing, acquisition, and management activity for Wingspan Development Group. Nick provides the guiding vision for the organization while lending strategic input and supporting the execution of the company’s business plan.

Gina Bertolini
Chief Financial Officer

Gina oversees all financial operations, capital markets activities, and investor relations. She is responsible for all aspects of the company’s accounting and financial reporting, including working with the company’s bonding, banking, and insurance partners to maintain the company’s excellent ratings.

Christopher Coleman
Vice President of Development

As the Vice President of Development, Christopher is responsible for all of Wingspan Development Group’s lines of business. His responsibilities include development oversight, fostering new debt and equity relationships, and implementing the company’s overall strategic plan.


Jason Macklin
Director of Development

Jason sources, designs, finances and executes new development projects. He manages the due diligence process, assembles the development team and oversees the design team and general contractor. Jason structures both debt and equity financing and directs asset management for properties in lease-up and post-stabilization.

Scott Richards, MPM, LEED AP
Senior Project Manager

Scott is involved in the planning, design, estimating, and construction of all Wingspan Development Group projects. His responsibilities include project management and estimating, contract negotiations, shop drawing verification and submittals, client contact, subcontractor management, and project closeout.

Todd Younger
Fund and Investor Relations Manager

Todd manages Wingspan Development Group’s real estate private equity funds. His responsibilities include coordinating all efforts around determining the fund goals, legal and registration requirements, as well as the ongoing monitoring, reporting, identifying and securing of investment partners. He also serves as the point of contact for the investment community.


John Sclafini
Fund and Investor Relations Manager

John has an established record of collaboration with institutional investors, registered investment advisors, family offices, and individuals with high net worth. He oversees Wingspan Development Group's capital raising efforts, supports existing investor relationships, and is an essential contributor to the structuring and marketing of the company’s various investment vehicles.

Carolyn Strahammer, Esq.
Corporate Legal Counsel

Carolyn advises the company on a variety of legal matters. She is responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts and agreements on the company’s behalf. She also oversees loan documentation and other transactional documents while promoting legal compliance and risk management. 

Andrew Psenka
Development Associate

In his role as Development Associate, Andrew is deeply involved in the underwriting and analysis process. He conducts market and sub-market research, prepares financial models, facilitates the construction draw process with capital partners, manages the implementation of property technologies, and engages the brokerage community to source and underwrite new development opportunities.


Richard Cozzi, AIA, REFP
Director of Design

Rick develops and manages Wingspan Development Group’s product line specifications. He coordinates design from concept through construction administration, ensuring that architectural and engineering partners provide accurate, efficient, and quality building sets for field construction. He is responsible for drawing review with regard to regulatory and code compliance, fit and finish detailing, material selection durability, and systems coordination.

Dawn Fletcher Collins
Brand Experience Manager

Dawn provides critical marketing oversight for Wingspan Development Group. She works closely with the property management companies to ensure that all marketing materials and messaging accurately and professionally reflect both the company and the development. This includes the establishment and maintenance of the development’s website and social media presence, project openings, merchandising, and all printed collateral. 

Thomas Ciezadlo
Analyst

Thomas provides departmental support by researching and analyzing market data and financial models to enable the Wingspan Development Group team to make sound, informed decisions. He pairs his knowledge of the market with his data analytics skills to ensure both internal and external stakeholders are aware of progress milestones through the preparation and coordination of internal and external development reports.


Michelle Hayes
Controller

As the Controller for Wingspan Development Group, Michelle is responsible for the company’s accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting. Michelle works with Wingspan’s outside accounting firm to prepare year-end audits and tax returns. She also works to automate systems and improve internal processes.

Mirela Vukovic
Corporate Property and Asset Manager

Serving as Corporate Property and Asset Manager, Mirela facilitates the transition from development and construction to leasing. She actively engages and oversees third-party property management companies to realize a rapid progression from lease-up through stabilization. While creating the highest level of resident and user experience across the company’s portfolio, Mirela ensures that each property meets or exceeds financial expectations, is physically maintained at or above company standards, and complies with all regulatory requirements.
